Feast of Tabernacles 2008

Every year, tens of thousands of people travel to Festival sites all around the world.  The Terre Haute Church of God supports the ministry (and Festival efforts)  of United Christian Ministries, CEM, and the Church of God Big Sandy.

In the Fall of 2008, the Church of God Terre Haute hosted a local Feast site for those who were not able to travel a long distance to other, larger, sites.

We served a small group (35 in all) in a family-like Festival setting.  People entered our worship area through an authentic Sukkot (seen in the background).  We enjoyed eight days of uplifting messages about God's strong desire to Tabernacle with us.  We had lots of food, fellowship and social activities.  It was a truly wonderful experience!

Outreach Efforts

One of our main outreach efforts is to support Christian Sabbatarians in Kenya.  Our Kenya Brethren also care for about 50 orphans.

We also have an outreach to support Widows and Orphans in India.

Through Kardias Ministries, we have been able to connect with several Sabbath keeping groups in India.  Widows in India are particularly oppressed.  We have been able to supply equipment and financial support.

In the Summer of 2008, we helped to sponsor a young man on a life changing mission trip with Kardias Ministries to India.

Another Outreach Program we support is the educating and training of young people in Thailand

Working with the Legacy Institute, we have offered financial support that helps provide valuable training to young villagers who can then take their knowledge and experience back to their local villages.

And You.  We also serve the needs of those who are simply lost and are looking for answers with no strings attached.

For many people, religion has given God a bad name.  That is why we founded the Find-God.org website.

Here is someplace warm and safe where you can learn how to build a real and lasting relationship with God - with no religious cords attached.

As Christians, it is our responsibility to reconcile others to God - not to any particular religious organization

(II Corinthians 5:18-21).
