* Three Times A Year
Our congregation receives
tithes and offerings throughout the year, but three different times
during the year we collect an offering as God commands:
Deuteronomy 16:16-17"Three times a year all your males
shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses:
at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the
Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty
handed. (17) Every man shall give as he is able, according to the
blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you"
The first of these three offerings, this year, was collected during
our Holy Day service on the first day of Unleavened Bread. The second offering was collected during the Feast
of Weeks, or Pentecost; and the third offering will be
collected on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles (where ever our
members attend the Feast of Tabernacles).
