Welcome to Church of God Terre Haute! You are invited to join us in a warm and friendly environment for weekly Sabbath services and fellowship.
The Seventh Day of the Week is the Sabbath of our Lord. It was given to us as a day of rest, and we are commanded to observe it as a time set aside for worship and reflection, following and learning from the examples set for us by Jesus Christ, the apostles, and the early New Testament Church. (Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 20:8-11)
Our church congregation, the Church of God Terre Haute, is doing a service project for our Terre Haute community. Our church members have done these projects for widows and seniors in other areas in the past, and this year's project is painting a house for one of our Terre Haute neighbors over the September 15th and 22nd weekends. Weather permitting, we will power wash and prep the house on the weekend of the 15th and paint it on the 22nd. Candidate houses must be owner occupied and not rentals. There is no cost to the owner for painting the house. All materials, supplies, and labor are provided free-of-charge. If you want to nominate your house for consideration, please call (812) 460-5729 and leave your name, address, phone number, and any other details you would like to add about yourself, such as if you are a widow, widower or a senior citizen, or about the house to be painted. We will get back to those who leave a voicemail with whether your house is chosen for this year's project.
