Guy Swenson, the thirteenth of thirteen children, grew up in San Jose, California, where as a teenager he began to study the Bible. He attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington for one year, and graduated from Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas. He met his wife Jennifer during his senior year of college, and they served congregations in Duluth, Minnesota; Indianapolis, Indiana; Milwaukee, West Bend, and Kenosha, Wisconsin; as well as Beckley and Summersville, West Virginia.
Since 1995, Guy has served his community by building businesses, serving on local boards, and sponsoring inner city neighborhood improvements.
Guy and Jennifer have a family of four children, their spouses, and 16 grandchildren. They founded Common Ground Christian Ministries in 2004 and Camp Outreach in 2005. Camp Outreach is a mission by youth to widows, fatherless and the poor.
Guy is passionate about the good news Jesus brought, family, service, and evangelism.
